About the Job
A reputable CPA firm in the Boston area is looking to add a Senior Audit Associate to their team.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution and final deliverables.
• Develop detailed engagement work plans, illustrating budgets and schedules.
• Skillfully and accurately perform financial and compliance audits
• Prepare and reviewing audit work papers and adjusting trial balances
• Analyze and compiling financial statements into a written report to be presented to clients and coworkers
• Continuously foster relationships with coworkers and clients
Qualifications
• 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related business field
• CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience with a public accounting firm
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Work effectively and personably with clients and coworkers

the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;
office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
