Are you a public auditor (senior or manager), who loves public but are burned out with the hours? Would you like a max 60 hour work week during busy season? How about Fridays off in summer? If so, this is the role for you! Our client in Shelton is looking to add to a growing team
The business is growing so the staff needs to grow with it, not just add more work to the existing staff, what an employee focused mindset
RESPONSIBILITIES:Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise work product and staff
Ensure work is on schedule, review reports and financial statements.
Proficient at accounting and audit research.
Supervision of multiple engagements, Be involved in practice development and assessing staff performance as needed
Possess a working knowledge of technology, including the use of audit software, applications and multiple accounting platforms
MS Word, Excel, UltraTax, ProSystem, Power Point and Thomson Reuters applications
Plan, oversee and coordinate all aspects of an audit engagement on a timely deadline schedule
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with client management
