Join us.Your Opportunity to Drive SuccessYou will have an opportunity to impact our approach to solving the most interesting problems facing AV’s today, while operating live in the wild.Work with cross-functional teams to develop software and system requirementsParticipate in team code quality activities including design and code reviewsDevelop and test state-of-the-art robotics software in CRequired Qualifications5+ years demonstrated experience working on real-world robotic systems - in a lab, in industry, etc
- not just course studyBachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a field that requires a strong mathematical and/or engineering foundation (e.g
physics, aerospace engineering)Strong background demonstrated through high-quality capability deliveries to robots working in the field in any of the following areas: perception, intent prediction, machine learning (applied to robotic problems), behavior development, planning, optimization, sensor processing and fusion, and vehicle control.Strong programming skills in C/C++Strong experience in ML/DL development with PyTorch/TensorFlowFamiliar with ML development cycle, deployment, and optimizationDeep understanding of data: data pipeline, data balancing, data mining, and data driving performance improvementExperience deploying ML/DL models in real-time systems with good accuracy and latencyExpertise with software development in a Linux environmentFamiliarity with standard development tools such as git, valgrind, and gdbDesired QualificationsMaster’s or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (or other relevant field)7+ years experience working on real-world robot systemsDemonstrated ability to mentor and support more junior engineers in learning and contributing to robotics development and testingPhysical RequirementsStandard office working conditions which includes but is not limited to:Prolonged sittingProlonged computer useTravel requirements - example- expectations 5-10%Salary Range$152,000—$190,000 USDBenefits and PerksComprehensive healthcare suite including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans
