Senior Backend developer - OnHires

We are looking for a Senior Backend developer with Node+Nest+Restful APIs experience to join an in-house team scaling up our flagship digital service with millions of monthly visitors.

In addition to other developers, testers, DevOps engineers, and testers you will work closely with a dedicated product and project manager as long as a team of 10+ engineers and QA’s.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience with Node.js and RESTful APIs
• 1+ years of commercial experience with NestJS
• Thorough understanding of web application architecture and development process
• Comprehensive understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, and service-oriented architecture
• Advanced experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Experience with unit and integration tests
• Understanding of web technologies
• Knowledge of Git, Confluence, and Jira
• Knowledge of different application performance optimization techniques
• English proficiency, written and spoken
• Strategic thinking

Nice to have

• HTML/CSS3
• React
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with Payment Gateways integration
