The global e-commerce business team hopes to provide users with more tailored and efficient consumption experience, enabling merchants to receive reliable platform services in different scenarios such as live e-commerce, short video content e-commerce, so as to make more affordable and high-quality products sell easily and a better life within reach.The Global e-commerce fundamental business team is a global team responsible for developing the fundamental product platforms and providing the overall technical solutions that power all of the global e-commerce business scenarios, including business globalization and the diversity in different industries
We are committed to providing high-quality, high-extensibility and high-stability capabilities, ranging from the product center, to the check out/transaction/payment center, and then after-sales support.Responsibilities- Responsible for designing, implementing and delivering high-quality capabilities for global e-commerce businesses, including product listing, catalog, category, inventory etc.- Responsible for continuously improving the stability, scalability and quality of the existing services and architecture of platform systems.- Responsible for the investigation and implementation of new technologies related to e-commerce business.QualificationsMinimum qualification - Strong software programming capabilities and exhibits good code design and coding style.- Deep understanding of data structure, algorithm design and analysis, networking, data security, and distributed systems design.- Fluency in developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java/Golang/Python/C++.- In-depth knowledge of common databases and messaging frameworks like MySQL/Redis/Kafka etc.Preferred qualification - Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.- Minimum 5 years of experience developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java/Golang/Python/C++.- Curiosity towards new technology and outstanding ability to analyze and solve complex problems.- Experience with E-Commerce or Monetization Products is preferred.- Excellent communication skills.TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives
