About the Job
Sr. Benefits Analyst reports to the Director of Benefits and administers one or more health & welfare benefit programs for Aimbridge Hospitality. This position balances experience in employee benefits benefit vendor management and knowledge of the internal HR operations to ensure efficient plan administration.
Responsibilities:QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4 to 6 years of progressing benefits administration experience; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Subject-matter expert on health & welfare benefits including experience with self-funded medical plans
- Must have advanced MS Office skills (Excel in particular)
- Excellent time management interpersonal communication presentation organization decision-making and planning skills
- Able to handle superior level of confidentiality concerning associate information
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in the programs’ execution and administration and provides analytical support for a variety of benefit policies and programs
- Partners with external and internal partners including HR Operations to ensure effective and timely handling of Health and Welfare benefit operations
- Manages complex escalations requiring interpretation of plan designs and contracts
- May provide leadership coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
- Makes positive employee experience a priority while at the same time prudently managing the investments that Aimbridge is making in these benefit programs
