The Senior Benefits Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive total rewards programs that align with Gibraltar Industries' strategic goals. What you'll do
- Develop and implement total rewards strategy, that aligns with the company's strategic goals and employee needs.
- Conduct market research and analysis to ensure competitive positioning of total rewards programs.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other ancillary benefits.
- Evaluate and select benefits vendors to ensure high-quality and cost-effective services.
- Manage the annual benefits enrollment process, including communication, education, and support for employees.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits.
- Manage time off and leave benefits, including vacation, sick leave, parental leave, and other forms of paid and unpaid leave.
- Analyze benefits utilization and trends to make data-driven recommendations for program enhancements.
- Support HR in Canada with the design, implementation, and administration of benefit programs to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to understand business needs and objectives with regards to total rewards programs.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to total rewards.
- Provide guidance and support to HR and management on total rewards-related issues.
- Develop and partner with HR Solutions team to deliver communication materials to educate employees about total rewards programs.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of total rewards programs and make recommendations for improvements.
What we need
- 7 years of experience in Benefits Management
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Benefits Administration, or related field
- Proficiency in HRIS Systems
- Strong knowledge of benefits best practices and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
