Senior BI Developer
As a member of the JBS IT BI Team, the Senior BI Developer will work closely with business units to develop applications using Qlik Sense on Prem and Qlik Sense SaaS. This role involves end-to-end development, including ETL processes, data model scripting, and front-end development. Additional responsibilities include SaaS migration, QMC administration, upgrade support, developer training, and providing BI support to business units. Experience with APIs and Snowflake is a plus. This role reports onsite to the corporate office in Greeley, CO.

Responsibilities:
- Lead projects working with business units within the company to design, build, test and deploy complex analytical solutions using Qlik Sense from multiple data sources.
- Aid multiple teams using collaboration, consultancy, project management or hands on assistance with development of their applications and reporting.
- Lead mentor for junior developers throughout the company including the Qlik team with the idea to build a team of experienced developers
- Open the door to new ideas and technologies in the BI space
- Upgrades to systems, Qlik environments, VizLib, NPrinting working closely with Basis teams
- Work with team to migrate current Qlik environment to SaaS.
- Document procedures and processes
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- BA / BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems preferred
- 3 or more years of expert-level experience developing in BI products, with Qlik development required.
- Experience with SaaS and Snowflake preferred a plus
- Intermediate to Advanced SQL experience required (python preferred)
- Leadership and mentoring skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- Able to comprehend and translate complex and advanced functional, technical and business requirements into executable architectural designs.
- Ability to translate requirements into developed code.
- Knowledge of formal database architecture and design.
- Ability to communicate results to a non-technical audience.
- Experience with protein company analytics a plus.Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base salary range of $90,000-$100,000;
- Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
