RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Naperville, IL that is seeking a Senior Business Analyst who will work to define business requirements to inform technology build and operations by sourcing and analyzing relevant data, reviewing, and documenting business processes and collaborating with business stakeholders. The selected candidate will have a strong background in modern banking platform (MBP), digital one (D1), agile/waterfall methodology, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities:
* Perform analysis on business and technical requirements provided
* Facilitate the session(s) to gather all requirements/create the user stories
* Document confirmed requirements/work with Product Owner on User Stories
* Provide clarifications and support to project team during design, development and testing phases
* Understands Software Development Life Cycle and can effectively perform BA tasks for each of the project phases
* Elicits requirements and analyzes feasibility to ensure solutions/initiatives achieve the expected business outcomes
* Supports various project teams across the project lifecycle to ensure development is aligned with the business requirements
* Develops informative, coherent, and usable project documents (project artifacts) for multiple stakeholders covering functional and non-functional business requirements
* Applies depth of domain & functional expertise for the assigned portfolio to drive the expected business value
* Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations
* Become SME and provide support during various phases of Testing and Post-Production validation
* Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support
* Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules
* Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations
REQUIREMENTS:
* Relevant post-secondary degree, and any agile certifications a strong asset
* 8-10 years of business analysis experience
* Strong knowledge of requirement gathering methods including interviewing, data modeling and business process modeling
* Knowledge and experience with Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
* Experience with Jira/Confluence, MS office, and Visio
* Experience working with a SaaS based product
* Previous banking experience required
* Previous experience in retail banking or deposits preferred
* Working experience with Digital Banking Platforms including account opening and account servicing products
* Working experience with retail deposits core banking platforms - including time deposit products
* Professional demeanor and comfortable managing stakeholders of any seniority
* Experience will ancillary banking systems (GL, sanctions, money movement, ACH)
* Ability to work independently with limited supervision
* Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Excellent critical thinking/analytical/problem solving and organizational skills; Ability to analyze issues/requests and determine next steps
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills
* Demonstrates transparency and willingness to share knowledge and best practices
* Displays acumen with technical concepts and business/industry knowledge with a strong desire for continuous learning
* Prior experience with FIS Modern Banking Platform and Digital One products will be a huge plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
