We are currently seeking a Business Process Analyst. We are seeking a skilled and analytical Business Process Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, process optimization, and project management. The Business Process Analyst will play a crucial role in identifying areas of improvement within our organization's processes, recommending solutions, and implementing changes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. This position works in a team environment at our home office in Newburgh, IN. This is not a remote position.
This position reports to the Business Process Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated to save on cost.
- Conduct interviews with staff and management to determine the efficacy of personnel.
- Manage cost cutting initiatives to adhere to the set business process budget.
- Update, implement, and maintain a record of all processes and procedures.
- Prepare and provide regular and accurate process progress reports for tracking and decision making.
- Participate in business-process related change management (training, communication, reports).
- Analyze process performance data and statistics to identify opportunities, suggest action plans, and recommend & implement process improvements to support business growth.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency of processes post implementation of improvement initiatives.
- Introduce and track process efficiency metrics.
- Ensure harmonized process/procedure quality standard across processes are adhered to.
- Monitor, measure, and provide feedback on process performance and set up remedial action for non-adherence.
- Provide recommendations and guidelines for the operation of processes.
- Implement best business practices.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, accounting, or similar.
- 2-5 years of experience as a process analyst.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect complex processes and identify areas for enhancement.
- Advanced understanding of business functions, workflows, and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience with workflow and process control software.
- Good interpersonal and interviewing skills.
- Experience with team management.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality documentation and deliverables.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
Working Conditions
- This position works in a climate-controlled warehouse assembly environment.
