Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (Day 1 Onsite)
Location: North Brunswick, NJ
Experience: 10 Years
Client: City of NY, DOE
Working Hours: 35hrs/week
Responsibilities:
- Gathering, documenting, and integrating requirements and information with regards to complex business processes and or systems from the various business units.
- Meet with users to map business processes and software requirements, generate requirements documents and matrices, conduct impact and change control analyses, and assist in testing.
- Prepare charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submit recommendations for solution.
- Responsible for producing deliverables related to the project assigned and post implementation support and system enhancements.
- Maintain updated documentation on applications.
- Lead the preparation of the testing strategy and Test plans, cases, and procedure s.
- Verify testing output to ensure it meets the defined business requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience working directly with other Business Subject Matter Experts, Business Requirements Analysts, and Developers in a fast-paced environment
- Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a business or related systems analysis role.
- Candidate should have demonstrated experience and skills in solution analysis and process definition in the following areas:
- Gathering requirements from users, requirements facilitation skills for group meetings, tracing requirements through SDLC, requirements and system impact analysis, parameterization, and implementation experience
- Should have understanding of how to start creating BRD document, FRD and high level development task.
- Should be experienced enough to work independently to coordinate with client
- Take meeting minutes and draft requirements based on each client call.
- Technical enough to understand when to bifurcate meeting into technical Vs. Program calls.
- Handle weekly status updates to top executives regarding development teams tasks and work alignments.
