This role will be fully remote through August 2025 with the expectation that employees will begin working 2 days per week in our dedicated office space in downtown SF starting September 2025.
About the Team:
This role sits within the Strategy, Insights and Planning team and is responsible for providing company-wide business insights, while creating an environment of trusted resources that lead to better data-driven decisions. We focus on enterprise-level reporting and visualizations, analyze business performance, and drive strategic recommendations. We also empower our end-users to make informed business decisions by providing access to trusted and reliable data.
About the Role:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for driving insights across the Taskrabbit platform, from top of funnel lead generation through the conversion pipeline and retargeting and churn prevention. You’ll know how our clients are moving through our website and App, and how our brand and perception play a key role in our business performance. This team has cross-company collaboration, focuses on high-priority enterprise level business insights, and builds solutions that clearly articulate what is happening in the business. You will be an expert communicator, as we are a team of storytellers that our leadership relies on to improve business outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Transform data to deliver timely and reliable reporting and analytics that underlie key business decisions
- Create insightful recommendations by applying your statistics, analytical and business skills to complex problems
- Dive deep and be an expert in our datasets by transforming and analyzing data from multiple sources
- Effectively communicate your findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders
- Discover patterns, insights, and opportunities to inform future business strategy, while evaluating current business performance
- Build dashboards and reports for relevant stakeholders through data visualization tools
- Analyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context
- Develop cross-functional relationships to champion data-driven decisions
- Translate ambiguous business problem statements into actionable analytical solutions, build metrics that quantify the impact of business decisions
- Partner closely with data engineers to improve and/or create foundational data models that will support analytics and reporting
Requirements:
- A BS/MS in economics, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent analytical experience
- 3-6 years using analytics to drive key business decisions across business intelligence, strategy and analytics, marketing, operations, finance
- Experience building data visualizations to inform business decisions (e.g., Sigma, Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience with SQL and large volumes of data
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Experience in B2C marketing analytics, business analytics or consulting role
- Great attention to detail and quality.
Nice to have skills:
- Knowledge of dbt and other modern data tools like Fivetran
- Experience with Python (Pandas, Numpy, etc.)
- Technical understanding of data warehousing/data pipelining solutions
- Experience implementing and utilizing Web Analytic tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytic, etc.)
- Experience gathering, distilling, and providing requirements to technical engineering and data teams
- Proficient in statistical techniques and concepts (regression, power analysis, clustering, etc.)
- Experience with a marketplace business model and a global brand
Compensation & Benefits:
At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent and equitable. Total compensation consists of base pay bonus benefits perks.
The annual gross pay range for this position is $105,000 - $145,000. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
