Essential Functions / Key Areas of Responsibility
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights. Use these findings to support business decisions and optimize operational processes.
- Data Visualization: Create, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- SQL Querying: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and manipulate data from various databases.
- Reporting: Generate and automate regular reports, providing timely and accurate insights into business performance metrics.
- Data Quality Management: Perform data cleaning, validation, and transformation to ensure high data quality and consistency across all reporting platforms.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, customer support, and product development, to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. A relevant Master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis. Experience working as a contractor or in a part-time capacity is a plus.
