Position Summary

McCormick Taylor has an immediate opening for a Senior CAD Designer to support our Site Development work in multiple departments.  The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment.  We are seeking an individual who can handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and work well in hybrid remote office environment. Strong written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills, attention to detail and ability to organize is required.

Responsibilities

• Understands the concepts of site design and is able to assist the engineer with anything from geometry and surface changes or modifications
• Able to manage multiple projects with the daily workload
• Able to configure files and work with IT to resolve software issues
• Oversee QA/QC for technical accuracy of work

Qualifications 

• 6+ Years of experience
• Degree: High school diploma, CAD Certificate
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite 
• Proficient in MicroStation
• Experience with other CAD Programs
• Entry level engineering experience to help assist the Project Engineer with various tasks.
• Prior Site Development and/or Survey experience a plus
• Has an understanding of printers and plotters.
• Knowledge of basic design software (InRoads/OpenRoads, GeoPak and/or Civil 3D)
