About the Job
Our Company: BCI Brands designs, sources, and markets nationally and internationally an extensive range of women's career, casual sportswear, and dresses. Their products are sold through all primary retail distribution levels principally under various trademarks and under private label brand names, such as Ted Baker, Vince Camuto, CeCe, 1.state and Parker.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with Designers to drive and develop new print collection for each delivery per season.
- Set and drive the Brand's seasonal print direction (color, trend and vision).
- Provide runway and trend reports to Design team and cross-functional partners to support print ideas for each season.
- Meet with artwork studios weekly to see new print trends
- Scanning and cleaning prints, re-colorings, color matching, graphics, repeats, texture mapping and palette building.
- Rework print layouts to fit garment patterns for production orders
- Working with assistants to track all artwork developed within CAD department.
- Interpret seasonal fashion direction, and merchandise trends as appropriate for the brand.
- Understand how the customer is responding to trends by reviewing selling and creating new and updated prints that support your research.
- Shop competitive and aspirational retail, trade shows and markets for new merchandise, trend ideas, and design inspirations (materials, fashion, color).
- Produce cohesive product presentations, including boards, tear sheets and samples.
- Attend Brand Concept and Strategy Meetings.
Requirements
- 6+ years of design experience specifically in HIGH END contemporary markets (some examples of high end brands include: Rodarte, Etro, Theory, Alive & Olivia, Rag & bone, Favorite Daughter, Frame, Love shack fancy, etc.)
- Strong color & print sense.
- Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Technical knowledge of fabric construction.
- Strong understanding of print layouts and repeats
- Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Kaledo and Microsoft Office suite.
Please note the annual salary for this full-time, permanent position starts at $125,000.
