Job Summary






Position Overview: The Senior Café Manager is responsible for overseeing all cafeteria operations from open to close, ensuring cost controls, quality, and sanitation standards are exceeded while leading a team of employees.





Key Responsibilities:






+ Supervise staff in line with company policies and applicable laws


+ Interview, hire, train, and coach employees and entry-level managers


+ Plan and assign job duties, conduct performance reviews, and facilitate development


+ Ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning standards


+ Maintain daily volume trend reports


+ Plan, market, and execute special events in the café


+ Perform additional duties as needed






Qualifications:






+ Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience


+ 3-5 years of upscale food service experience, with at least 2 years in management


+ Strong supervisory, training, and coaching skills


+ Knowledge of food service operations, including cash handling and equipment usage


+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills


+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


+ ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus
