Summary:
Responsibilities:
Implements breakfast and lunchtime meal program including submitting weekly food request and donations food preparation and distribution cleanup following food safety protocol maintaining appropriate temperature logs cleaning and sanitizing refrigerators and freezers etc.
Assist with casework needs for community walk-in�s as well as members.
Maintains program calendar for events programs and workshops.
Implements and engages in program activities with members.
Assist Program Manager in client supports such as RIDE program Department of Human Services renewals Medicare etc.
Light cleaning duties such as dusting vacuuming sanitizing disinfecting restocking bathroom and kitchen items etc.
Performs other related duties as required.
Other information:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School or GED Some college experience relevant to Human Services/Case Management preferred.
Experience working with people from low-income communities.
Experience with the elderly population.
Familiarity with community outreach and resources.
Flexibility with schedule to work additional hours during the holiday season and during preparation of big events.
