Senior Civil Engineer (Private & Public) - Impact Recruitment

Impact Recruitment is looking for a talented, motivated, and technically driven Land Development Engineer interested in joining a fantastic Engineering and Land Development firm with offices throughout Southern California.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Act as central design figure on team by designing the layout of grading, street improvements and underground facilities within FEI design standards, agency processing requirements and client expectations and by performing complex design tasks and solving major design problems.
  
• 
  Ensure quality of design and implement new ideas through supervision, participation, plan reviews and training of junior staff.
  
• 
  Assist team leader in client/agency interaction, endeavor to build lasting relationships and respect with clients. Attend meetings and conference calls as appropriate.
  

Education and Experience Required:

• 
  Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university.
  
• 
  Professional Engineer license in California is required.
  
• 
  Civil engineering design experience totaling four year; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
• 
  A minimum three years independently solving complex engineering problems within land development.
  
• 
  Successful candidates will also have well-developed problem-solving, decision-making, communication and team building skills. 
  
• 
  Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D software required.
