Position Summary

Performs complex claims support and administrative activities for various disciplines.

• The hiring manager will also consider candidates for a CSSI or CSSII. Level of position offered will be based upon the depth and breadth of selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
• The successful candidate will work 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday (a bank of remote days will be considered)
• The successful candidate will work from our Wisconsin Branch Office.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs complex support and administrative functions, including but not limited to preparing and processing claims documents and information within established procedures and supports third party relationships and processes.
• Handles financial transactions within established procedures.
• Trains and mentors.
• Performs various system-related tasks; assists in resolving systems problems.
• Assists claims personnel with various activities, as required.
• Provides inbound and outbound phone support and responds to inquiries from customers, escalates as appropriate.
• Coordinates administrative tasks supporting business activities.
• Assists supervisor with various tasks including setting schedules and assigning work.
• Greets, screens, and directs visitors to appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or related experience and four years' customer service in a professional setting, administrative, claims support or office experience, required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

Additional Experience

• Advance knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, email, and calendar scheduling software required.
• Ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute and 100 net data entry keystrokes per minute preferred.
• Experience in the insurance industry and completion of insurance designations or classes or certificate in Supervisory Management (SM 18 & SM 19) preferred.
• Travel for business and training required.
