Senior Cloud Consultant (Cloud SME)

We are seeking a Cloud Migration SME with extensive experience in advisory support for enterprise migrations, specifically in application systems. The company has 60-70 applications that require a thorough analysis to develop a plan for migrating from on-premise to the cloud over the next 18 months. The ideal candidate will provide strategic guidance on what information should be gathered from various counterparts, without directly conducting data collection. They will advise on which questions to prioritize at different stages and help refine the intake form or questionnaire. Additionally, they'll ensure the migration plan aligns with best practices and past approaches.

This individual is crucial to the Cloud Architect Team as they will be the acting point of contact to advise, develop, socialize, and advocate the migration roadmap, blueprints, and other related decision-making. This will be hands-on, working with multiple business, application, and infrastructure teams to collect the information that is needed to build out the team's cloud migration roadmap.

responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Experience supporting cloud migration journeys-specifically, migrating applications from on-premise to a SaaS model.

• 10+ years of cloud migration experience as an Enterprise Architect

• High-level advisory/consultancy experience

• Depth knowledge of various SaaS platforms in AWS

• Programming languages and frameworks, such as .NET, Java, NodeJS, Python, ReactJS, ETL, SQL, JSON, YML, Terraform, CDK, SAM, Serverless Framework, ECS, Kubernetes

• AWS Solutions Architect Certified is a plus

• Financial Services experience is preferred
