Role: The Senior Cloud Cyber Security Engineer will be the Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for cloud-based services, ensuring compliance with DOS policies and enhancing the security architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor security features in the Bureau’s IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud platforms.
• Create dashboards to aggregate security-related data and introduce a Security as a Service (SECaaS) program.
• Build and maintain database models to support data management.
• Collaborate with analysts to ensure security controls are effectively implemented.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure using DevSecOps practices and report on changes and impacts.
• Perform security reviews, identify gaps, and develop security risk management plans.
• Evaluate security architectures for compliance with established policies.
• Ensure security requirements for connectivity and cloud management are met across all OBO cloud platforms.
• Assist the clients ISSO in developing a comprehensive Information Systems Security Strategy.

Qualifications:

• MS/BS degree in a related field
• TS Cleared and must be willing to work onsite. (50to 60% telework may be allowed at the discretion of CO)
• 10+ years of experience in Cyber Security with a focus on cloud technologies.
• Expertise in cloud security architectures and compliance standards.
• Strong experience with security tools and monitoring solutions.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty) preferred.
• Proven leadership and communication skills in cross-functional environments.
