Position Overview

The Senor Compliance Accountant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, managing tax filings, and assisting with insurance-related tasks across all North American entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee state registrations and other state filings for all North American entities.
• Maintain a comprehensive schedule of registration filings and deadlines to ensure timely compliance.
• Prepare and submit annual and quarterly census requests as required.
• Handle FBAR reporting for all applicable entities.
• Maintain a schedule of tax notices and ensure timely responses.
• Organize and manage tax filing schedules, including property tax filings and deadlines for select entities.
• Collaborate with Industrial Tax Consulting for property tax filings for select entities.
• Manage insurance renewal requests and assist with gathering necessary information for insurance audits.
• Investigate insurance liability coverage as needed for select entities.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and additional accounting tasks as required for select entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or compliance roles.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal compliance regulations.
• Experience with tax filing processes and property tax regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
• Experience with insurance audits or liability coverage investigations.
• Familiarity with Industrial Tax Consulting practices.
