Senior Computer Technicians - VETERANS ENGINEERING INCORPORATED

Veterans Engineering is seeking onsite Senior Computer Technicians for an upcoming project supporting a U.S. Government financial agency. Positions are available nationwide.

Duties include:

• Diagnose and repair computer problems efficiently.

• Manipulate software or hardware as needed to rearrange program steps and make adjustments.

• Perform component-level troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.

• Swap out parts when necessary to ensure proper functionality.

• Carry out work on larger, more complex projects independently or provide direction to less senior personnel on such projects.

Experience:

• Experience in maintaining troubleshooting a wide variety of systems and networks to include high volume/high availability systems. Must have knowledge of debugging protocols and processes.

• Experience with conducting routine system administration tasks and logging data in system admin logs.

• Experience with maintaining troubleshooting a wide variety of systems and networks, including high volume or high availability systems.

• Knowledge of debugging protocols and processes.

• Ability to troubleshoot problems and issues identified by customers and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• A+, CE, CCNA, Security +, Network CE or other 8570 equivalent.

• 6+ years’ experience.

• Experience with IRS highly desired

• Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance.
