Visions Designers-Builders Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires managing all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, quality control, and team coordination. The Senior Construction Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. You will also work closely with stakeholders, subcontractors, and the project team to achieve client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.

We are experienced in all types of commercial construction including educational, office, mixed use, golf club, industrial, multi-family, hospitality, residential and many other types of facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Project Planning & Budgeting: Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and schedules while coordinating with project teams to ensure all financial objectives are met.
- Team Leadership & Management: Lead and manage the construction team, including project managers, subcontractors, and vendors. Provide guidance and oversight to ensure all team members are aligned with project goals.
- Contract Management: Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Manage change orders, disputes, and claims, ensuring project profitability is maintained.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate all phases of the project, including design, construction, and closeout, while ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and contract documents.
- Client Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns. Act as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure any issues are resolved promptly to avoid delays or additional costs.
- Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities adhere to project plans, specifications, and safety standards. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to maintain project integrity.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present project reports, schedules, and financial updates to senior leadership. Ensure accurate project documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices in project management and construction techniques. Provide mentorship and support to junior project managers and other team members.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large commercial construction projects.
- Education: Bachelor's or Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction management software, including ProCore, MS Project, and other relevant tools. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, safety regulations, and contracts.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and guide project teams to achieve project goals.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to handle complex project issues with poise and professionalism.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certifications preferred.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of commercial construction processes, materials, safety protocols, and industry standards.
