As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will be at the heart of our operations, leading and coordinating diverse construction projects from conception to completion. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects and to play a significant role in shaping the skyline of our cities. You will be responsible for the successful execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Review and interpret project requirements and deliverables, and provide technical assistance to the project team.
3. Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
4. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring all parties are fully aligned and working to the agreed plan.
5. Manage contractual agreements with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
6. Implement risk management processes and conduct risk assessments to mitigate potential issues.
7. Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, and local and state regulations are met.
8. Monitor and report on project progress, performance, and financials to stakeholders.
9. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and legal regulations.
4. Demonstrated experience in contract management, team leadership, risk management, scheduling, and procurement.
5. Proficient in project management software and tools.
6. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
9. Professional Project Management (PMP) certification preferred.
10. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed.
