Overview
This individual will be a member of a team focused on providing functional assistance and timely, effective solutions to complex business scenarios through the knowledge and application of Quorum’s oil and gas software applications. The individual should have a strong desire for continuous learning and growth of technical and functional skills with the aspiration to leverage these skills to provide a positive customer experience. The role requires extensive interactions with customers via written and verbal communications.
Responsibilities
- Answer questions on system functionality and/or configuration
- Analyzing complex business requests and interpreting them for internal engineering teams and external IT and business staff
- Triaging, recreating, and documenting issues to provide detailed problem descriptions for coordination with engineering or product management
- Working with Clients to obtain business and technical specifications to help implement next generation software solutions
- Understand the importance of customer relations and supporting software users
- Work with various team members to satisfy business requirements and provide solutions to software requests
- Create documentation that clearly demonstrates proper methodology and/or enhancement to be delivered solves the business problem reported
- Participating in the configuration, enhancement, and testing phases associated with software development and implementation
- Working closely with our software engineering teams to integrate release software into Client environments
- Providing guidance and mentoring for less experienced consultants
- Participating in company building exercises, such as recruiting or delivery of internal training courses
- Ensuring successful completion of personal and team deliverables
- Complete administrative tasks required to track request through lifecycle
- Curate Knowledge Base content
- And other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business or related disciplines that have an analytical component
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to travel occasionally during the week
- Strong problem solving and/or analytical skills
- Ability to embrace and leverage new technology
- Basic understanding of database systems, data models, data migrations, and experience using SQL
- Basic understanding of software development
- Aptitude to build on concepts
- Strong desire for continuous learning
- Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
- Demonstrated technical process including solving complex problems, programming skills (SQL, C++/C#, Java, VB and/or other computer programming languages), and familiarity/understanding of systems architecture
- Demonstrated leadership skills such as managing project schedules and fostering team collaboration
- Aspiration or work experience in the oil and gas industry
- Aspiration or work experience in cost accounting, revenue accounting, and/or financial systems
- Aspiration or work experience in developing and implementing solutions for Client needs
- Entrepreneurial skills, including motivation to take on more responsibility
- Interest to help grow and develop Client relationships through direct and meaningful interaction
- Related work experience with Quorum softwares is strongly preferred

- Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification and passport/ID validation.
