Senior Content Writer
Korn Ferry is seeking a talented B2B Content Writer to join our team and help us elevate our thought leadership and demand generation efforts. You'll bring strong writing, editing, and creative problem-solving skills, as well as knowledge of current B2B copy trends, to deliver on marketing campaign briefs-from initial creative concepts to final production assets. The candidate must hold a deep belief in the power of words and should have deep understanding of the purpose of content creation for all stages of the marketing funnel. The candidate should also be familiar with content marketing and the SaaS space.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced B2B Content Writer to create compelling, insightful content that speaks directly to the challenges faced by our target audience. This role focuses on full funnel thought leadership content, aiming to build awareness for our Digital Products that complement our consulting solutions in leadership development, assessment, total rewards, and talent acquisition. The content will be a crucial component of our demand generation campaigns, designed to attract, engage, and nurture leads through the top and middle of the funnel.
In this role, you'll develop a deep understanding of our clients and our brand. You'll recognize the value of Korn Ferry's products and know how to communicate that value clearly and concisely. You'll apply a deep understanding of digital marketing to your work in service of best-in-class creative that drives action.
Reporting to the Campaign Director, the ideal candidate is creative, adaptable, a self-starter, a strong communicator, and a proactive team player. You should be a motivated learner who is excited to participate in successful collaboration with peers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Editorial Oversight: Provide editorial oversight working with vendors, subject matter experts (SMEs), and collaborating with cross functional teams
- Content Creation and Management: Manage content creation and develop high-quality, thought-provoking content including articles, ebooks, case studies, infographics, and more that address client challenges and showcase our expertise in topics like leadership development, assessment, total rewards, and talent acquisition.
- Copywriting: Take complex product terminology into understandable, engaging and relatable copy, while maintaining the integrity of our brand.
- Developing an understanding of the brand and our audiences. Creating content in line with brand and editorial guidelines.
- Demand Generation: Create content specifically designed to drive demand generation, focusing on attracting and engaging potential customers at the top and middle of the funnel.
- SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to ensure all content is optimized for search engines, increasing organic visibility and traffic.
- Leverage Audience Insights: Stay updated on audience challenges, to optimize messaging for different channels within marketing, iterating based on performance to create impact.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and sales teams to align content with business objectives and campaign goals.
- Performance Tracking: Measure and analyze content performance, using data to refine content strategy and improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B content writing, preferably within the SaaS industry.
- Content Marketing Experience and writing content with a writing style that drives engagement and behavior change.
- Agility: Excellent time management skills, including ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines consistently
- Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of the English language.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously with an eye on deadlines.
- Digital Marketing: Proficient in digital marketing concepts and strategies, including SEO, content marketing, and demand generation.
- Tools: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), marketing automation tools, and SEO tools.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
