Senior Contract Pricing Consultant - ODP Business Solutions

Overview

This Senior Pricing Consultant role will function as a business process and analytics expert for the B2B pricing organization.  The role is responsible for examining existing pricing and lifecycle processes and strategies, evaluating them within the context of organizational goals and proposing changes or enhancements to help achieve those goals.  This role will also be responsible to provide analytics support to partners and initiatives across the organization.  

The goal of this position is to be an analytical lead in key projects, creating a lift in customer experience, and stronger bottom line sales and profit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop strategy and requirements for enhancing pricing tools either through internal development or working with 3rd party vendors.  This strategy will include ongoing reviews and monitoring. 
• Perform broad scope analytics to identify sales and profitability opportunities within all customer segments. 
• Act in guidance to the development of pricing strategies for the contract, direct and retail channels.
• Provide analytics support to the portfolio health initiative.
• Provide ad hoc analytics support to the Merchandising and Supply Chain Organizations.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree Finance or Business Management or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years in Pricing, Product Research, Financial Modeling, Analytic Design, Process Management
• Technical Competencies: 
  • SQL
  • Teradata 
  • SAS
  • Tableau
  • Experience with pricing and origination tools
  • Advanced MS Excel
  • MS PowerPoint
  • MS Word
  • MS Access
• Strong analytical thinker and researcher with innovative ideas
• Articulate and able to work at a high speed with a high degree of accuracy
• Able to organize and manage multiple and competing priorities
• Ability to effectively influence at all levels
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
• Ability to present at all levels, executive presence
• Ability to make quick and accurate decisions based on data presented 
• Attention to detail and logistic expertise within process excellence

*Remote: While this position does not currently require relocation, candidates within a radius of our physical locations, including, but not be limited to Boca Raton, Itasca, and Austin, will be required to work in the office a minimum of two days a week beginning in September 2024.
