About the Job
The Senior Contracts Administrator will support the Contracts Lifecycle Department globally across the ABS enterprise. The primary responsibilities will involve supporting the Contract Lifecycle Management process and system that may include preparing, negotiating, and reviewing various company contracts. The Senior Contracts Administrator will ensure ABS' contracts align with internal policies and external legal requirements and terms. The professional will also support the updating and implementing of systems, processes, and monitoring tools to ensure we comply with the contract terms and conditions.

Schedule and Location:
- The position has a hybrid work schedule consisting of Tuesday through Thursday in the office. Monday and Friday provide the option to work remotely or from the office.
- This open role is located at our modern ten-story corporate headquarters in Spring, Texas.
- Implement systems and processes for the preparation and maintenance of all commercial contracts in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with other teams to manage integration points (i.e. CRM and ERP) to promote a seamless user experience.
- Design and implement quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with terms and conditions of contracts.
- Develop monitoring tools for compliance and automation of notices and renewals where possible.
- Document and design processes to streamline work, reduce manual effort, and ensure scalability through utilizing existing technology.
- Develop and implement training for various stakeholders regarding contract negotiations and documentation.
- Working with the Legal department, preparing standard templates for sales and purchase contracts.
- Create and implement language standards for existing and new contracts.
- Negotiate and review contract terms with internal and external business partners while constantly analyzing the agreement for potential risks to the company and ensuring records are up to date.
- Review contract estimates, including proposed materials, production costs, etc., and determine whether they seem reasonable, accurate, and are within the approved budget.
- Prepare contractual documents such as Annual Representations and Certifications, Subaward Agreements and Non-disclosure Agreements, and Contract Close-out documents.
- Distribute contractual documents such as contract award schedules/delivery orders, subcontractor task orders, and changes/modifications, obtain signatory authorization of contracts, and request Taxpayer Identification Numbers and Certificates.
- Explain terms and conditions to ABS management and interested parties to ensure requirements and policies are followed.
- As needed, assists external or government auditors, subcontractors, buyers, accounting staff, and co-workers in responding to and/or resolving contract issues, including billing inquiries.
- Analyze contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This includes state, federal, and international jurisdictions.
- Stay up to date with legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department as needed.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent related business experience.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in a contract administration role or related field.
- Expertise in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) vendors such as Icertis, LinkSquares, Sirion, etc. is a plus
- Exemplifies knowledge of contract law, accounting principles, and finance.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodology.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and interact well with team members and clients.
- Ability to develop a working knowledge of ABS Rules, Guides, statutory regulations, related instructions, and the ABS Employee Safety Policy.
