Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Contracts Specialist to support DoD Research & Development (DARPA) in Arlington, VA
The team is seeking a dynamic skill set in contract negotiation, modifications, and grants that adhere to FAR/DFAR policies
This is a HYBRID role requiring an active SECRET clearance
Responsibilities of the Senior Contracts Specialist:
Preparing and administering terms and conditions for contracts that contribute to national security objectives
Collaborating in contract negotiation efforts, analyzing proposed costs, and evaluating pricing strategies.
Modifying with precision and proficiency.
Conducting in-depth analysis of procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Preparing and maintaining essential contract file documentation according to FAR, DFARS, and related regulations.
Qualifications of the Senior Contracts Specialist:
8+ years of experience with government contracts
MUST HOLD ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
Experience implementing DoD FAR/DFARs policies and regulations
Experience with government procurement and cost analysis experience
DoD experience desired
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Compensation for the Senior Contracts Specialist:
Salary Range: $100,000 - $160,000 per year **flexible based on experience level**

Long-term contract supporting DARPA
