Senior Control System Validation Engineer - E Tech Group

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Control System Validation Engineer (Life Sciences) to be responsible for leading or contributing to detailed hardware and software design of process automation control systems projects. This includes defining architecture requirements, developing detailed test protocols, software design specifications, functional design specifications, creating SAT/FAT documentation, and contributing to the overall control system design.

Location: Role will be based out of the Albany, NY office. It is on-site for 9 months and hybrid after that.

You Will:

• Review and understand scope, approach and design
• Review documentation/validation requirements with the Project team
• Develop required documentation(design documents and test protocols) for a Project
• Review documentation developed by peer engineers
• Maintain the documentation through the project life cycle
• Maintain schedule of documentation required for the Project
• Identification and definition of out-of-scope items
• Customer correspondence
• Full working knowledge of required customer procedures and policies
• Full working knowledge of customer equipment and systems
• Participation in required meetings and training
• Assist with investigations
• Read and understand electrical drawings and design documents
• Provide support for Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing
• Develop and maintain a quantitative approach for estimating documentation development hours
• Project management duties for self

You Have:

• BS Engineering or Computer Science degree or equivalent educational background
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Exposure to engineering/control system documentation, change control, and a general understanding of GAMP is a plus
• A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork

Salary: 90,000 - 125,000
