Candidates should possess a 4-year engineering degree or a 2-year associate's degree complemented by over 10 years of hands-on experience in controls hardware and software design for industrial manufacturing machinery and robotic systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks is crucial for effective design and engineering tasks. Additionally, expertise in HMI programming is required, with familiarity in platforms such as Allen-Bradley FT View ME/SE, RSView, Panelbuilder, and Siemens WinCC Flex/TIA Portal. Adeptness in SCADA programming, including knowledge of FactoryTalk, Ignition, Wonderware, and GE Proficy, is also vital for successful project execution.
