Job Title: Senior [Controls Engineer] Estimator - Mission Critical Infrastructure (2 Openings)

Location: Lewisville, TX
Salary Range: ~ +/- $100,000 – $140,000 (Negotiable, DOE)
Relocation Assistance: Available for qualified candidates

Job Summary:
We are seeking two experienced Senior Estimators to join our team and contribute to our mission-critical infrastructure projects in data centers and advanced manufacturing facilities. In this role, you will analyze project documentation such as drawings, specifications, and RFPs to deliver accurate material, direct cost, and labor estimates. Candidates with experience in Building Automation, Facility Control, HVAC applications, or related systems are highly desired, especially within data centers or advanced manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze engineering plans and specifications from RFPs to develop detailed material and labor estimates.
• Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and clients to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements.
• Perform detailed take-offs of P&IDs and mechanical/electrical drawings to define project needs.
• Prepare and turn around accurate cost estimates and change order proposals within a 24-hour timeframe.
• Utilize Excel, Bluebeam, and other estimating tools to produce precise and well-documented estimates.
• Independently manage the full estimating process under the guidance of the hiring manager.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with building automation or facility control systems, particularly in mission-critical or advanced manufacturing settings.
• Proficiency in Excel and pdf applications (Bluebeam and Adobe).
• Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of PLC, DCS, and HVAC control applications; experience with instrumentation and control valve products is a plus.
• Proven experience creating estimates from various design stages (30%, 60%, and 90%).
