CompDME provides Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and ancillary services to its patients, primarily to the workers' compensation industry. We offer a range of products and services, including medical equipment, transportation, translation services, and home health care, such as skilled nursing and therapy. Our goal is to make it easier for clients, such as injured workers and their providers, to access these necessary tools and services in a timely and cost-effective manner​. CompDME's services also include Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), medical bill review, and customized Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) networks to help ensure cost-efficient, high-quality care for their clients​.
Overview
This position will support the function of the company by handling all aspects of Ancillary Services. This position requires skill in organizing, planning, and managing all CompDME related transactions and business.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing Ancillary Services with client
- Responsible for fulfilling all customer service requirements of the client, which include, but are not limited to, interaction with client, patients, physicians, pharmacists, current vendors, and other third-party vendors
- Responsible for all Ancillary Services related communication, which include, but are not limited to, phone and email inquiries
- Receives and coordinates all referrals to include notification of insurance providers for prior authorization and services covered
- Responsible acquiring authorizations and maintaining documentation in the clinical system
- Responsible for entering transport and interpreter invoices into database for payment and billing
- Responsible for entering new claimant information into proprietary software
- Responsible for setting follow up reminders on rentals for new patients and remaining engaged until case is closed
- Responsible for purchasing items required to fulfill orders and maintaining monthly recurring orders
- Effectively coordinate services with other organizations and individuals also providing care to the patient/client
- Responsible for understanding and operating various software systems, including data entry and billing component for Ancillary Services and other business lines
- Ability to works as an independent, effective team member, coordinating and assisting other team members in a professional manner
- Responsible for upholding and building the CompDME Customer Service Standard
- Sensitivity to confidential matters is required
- Works as an effective team member, coordinating with others and contributing to the overall success of the Company
- Maintains cooperative and effective workplace relationships and adheres to company Code of Conduct
- Ensure invoices from vendors and to clients are properly calculated, paid, and billed timely
- Aid in pricing calculations for product lines
- Manages day to day Operations as needed
- Responsible for all internal new client implementations once received from Sales
- Acts as Liaison between all departments as needed (i.e., Sales, Account Management Billing, Business Development)
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience or vast knowledge in Worker's Compensation Ancillary Services and/or Insurance Industry is required
- High School graduate or Certificate of High School equivalency required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in the field or in a related area
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in mathematics
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong decision making and organizational skills
- High degree of professionalism and personal presence
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally, and provide exceptional service, both internally and externally at all times
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license with proof of insurance
