Job Description
Summary:
Execute all support activities associated with the generation of proof of insurance on behalf of our clients. The Operations Specialist II will support production by processing daily rush and ad hoc transactions of certificates of insurance as needed. A certificates of insurance (COI) is a document that provides third-parties details about the coverages and limits a policy holder has in force. As part of our commercial Brokerage services, Client provides our clients with the daily servicing of their portfolio of certificates of Insurance. Operations specialists are trained to review COI requests,
compare the requirements of a certificate holder against the policy provisions of the insured and create customized certificates of insurance that allow our clients to do business with their clients/vendors. The Operations specialist is also responsible for supporting some tasks related to new client-onboarding, handling the certificates renewal process, and acting as a point of contact for clients and client team members. The Operations Specialist II will also have some responsibility to manage workflow queues.
Training Details
There will be a one week onboarding process, followed by two weeks of classroom training, and then a 6-8 week ‘academy’ where live work is completed, but peer reviewed before distribution.
Contract Type
Sixth month contract
Location Details
Onboarding, Training, and first two weeks of academy will be five days a week in the office.
Starting week three of the academy, contingents may choose to work a hybrid schedule (Monday and Fridays optional work from home, Tuesday-Thursday in office)
