Job Description
The Senior Coordinator of Research and Evaluation will collaboratively work with the Director of
Research and Evaluation to collect and analyze data (quantitative and qualitative), develop evaluation
reports, and disseminate evaluation findings, aimed at improving the effectiveness of CAF programs and
highlighting project outcomes. This will include leading the implementation, execution and completion
of evaluation deliverables for specialized programs, with oversight from the Director of Research &
Evaluation. The position will also support the School Food Operations Assessment team with data
collection from districts, serving as the liaison between CAF staff and external partners for operational
data collection and management. At the organizational level, this position will lead the development of
tracking systems and processes for data management with CAF programs for both internal and external
use.
Key Responsibilities
● Conduct literature reviews on scratch cooking in schools, helping to identify gaps in knowledge
and inform program evaluation priorities for CAF programs.
● Develop tracking systems and organizational structure for data collection with CAF programs for
both internal and external use.
● Support the Director of Research & Evaluation with data collection, analysis, reporting, and
dissemination of evaluation findings.
● Analyze and communicate evaluation findings through summary reports, peer-reviewed
manuscripts, conference presentations, and funder engagement.
● Assist the Director of Research & Evaluation facilitating and managing collaboration with external
research and evaluation partners.
● Lead implementation, execution and completion of evaluation deliverables for specialized
programs, with oversight from the Director of Research & Evaluation.
● Work on special projects or any other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
● Ability to travel for work, up to 15% of the time
● A bachelor's degree in public health, sustainable food systems, nutrition, evaluation, or a related
field is required. Three (3) years of relevant experience in primary data collection,
mixed-methods analysis, and report development may be substituted for the educational
requirement.
● Masters Degree preferred.
● 1-3 years of experience of comprehensive knowledge of theories, concepts, and practices and
the ability to use them in complex, difficult, and/or unprecedented situations.
● Ability to balance and prioritize competing timelines/deliverables
● Proficiency with Airtable, Qualtrics, quantitative software (State or R), and qualitative software
(NVivo or Dedoose)
● Strong proficiency in GSuite platforms and Microsoft 365
● Ability to work virtually

Compensation
Compensation ranges between $56,000 - $74,000 per year and will be commensurate with the
candidate’s previous experience and credentials. The Chef Ann Foundation is a great place to work and
