The Senior Corporate Trainer analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates assigned Revenue & Sales department training programs. This position also provides internal consultancy to the organization, individual managers, and employees to raise the performance capability of all staff through training and development activities. This position also works with senior management to translate business objectives into executable performance improvement initiatives and projects with minimal guidance.
Essential Functions for this role include:
- Design, implement, and evaluate existing projects, including training and performance optimization programs, for business and functional development. Bring innovative and creative thinking to the design of business/functional learning solutions.
- Ensure high quality and consistency across every design and development project. Establish methodologies, tools, templates, and processes for instructional design strategies and content development.
- Conduct content analysis. Identify existing learning materials that may be leveraged or modified to support learning needs. Determine the best design options for audience fit (e.g., instructor-led learning, eLearning, blended solution).
- Create engaging learning design approach that leverages an array of learning strategies. Balance innovation with pragmatic view of how to implement learning solutions.
- Engage Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure relevant learning. Adequately scope, communicate, and plan for SME involvement to ensure relevant and accurate content design.
If you have the following skills, we encourage you to apply:
- Five to seven years of experience
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
Series 6 and 63 optional
- Demonstrated presentation design and facilitation skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Expert use of Salesforce
- Performance-driven, results-oriented; comfortable/flexible with changing priorities, high levels of ambiguity, and non-routine issues
- Ability to learn and understand complex processes
- Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision, both written and verbal
- Track record of successful training delivery of complex subject matter to diverse audiences using multiple delivery methods
- Demonstrated presentation design and facilitation skills
