Key Responsibilities:
Client Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, providing strategic tax and financial advice.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and grow client accounts.
- Oversee complex tax planning and compliance engagement.
- Provide guidance on GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards, ensuring compliance and optimal client outcomes.
- Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Set the standard by promoting ethical practices, integrity, and a client-focused approach.
- Participate in firm wide initiatives and contribute to strategic planning.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the firm's client base.
- Represent the firm at networking events, industry conferences, and community functions.
- Develop proposals and presentations for potential clients.
- Enhance and streamline internal processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with partners and senior management to implement best practices.
- Ensure the firm's operations align with its strategic goals and objectives.
- CPA Certification is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on tax and advisory services.
- Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Strong technical knowledge of tax regulations, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop staff.
- Proven business development skills with a track record of successful client acquisition.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive firm growth and innovation.
- Experience in a leadership role with a public accounting firm highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Creative Solutions software is a plus.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
