Job Description
Position Objective:
Reporting to the Senior Customer Service Manager, the Inside Sales Representative provides more accurate and efficient customer service to assigned distribution, OEM customers as well as general customers of Nidec Motors Corporation by offering more extensive knowledge of the product and processes when providing end to end inside sales support from inquiry handling to complete order processing.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Serve as point of contact for customer inquiries and requests on new and existing orders
Collaborate with production, supply chain, and account managers to deliver excellent customer experience. Building strong relationships within our organization will be very important.
Proactively communicate status updates, changes, issues, or delays to clients
Responsible for order management from the point of entry until receipt of client. The ISR is responsible for knowing all updates or changes to orders.·Build strong relationships with key clients
Lead weekly customer facing meetings with key accounts. This includes preparing order status reports and addressing business plans in place within different departments to improve customer experience and lead time
Attend factory walkthroughs daily to understand what challenges we are facing in meeting customer delivery demands and how/when they will be resolved.
Keep accurate documentation of orders, customer complaints, and steps to address customer complaints
Experience/Skills:
Data entry and experience / proficiency with Oracle systems
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent teamwork skills
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
Adaptability to consistent changes in client needs and expectations
Ability to analyze order information and relay to individuals at different levels with our organization
Education:
BS / BA in Business or Technical degree preferred, 5+ years in customer facing roles required.
