SUMMARY
Arcticom, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation, is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Architect – Zero Trust to work with our government client. The ideal candidate for this job will serve as a Zero Trust Architect within the federal client’s agency. A highly motivated individual with strong technical, communication, and organizational skills will succeed in this program.
Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform agency wide security analysis as it relates to Zero Trust.
- Understand the contents and requirements of Executive Order 14028 and all related memorandums.
- Oversee agency journey to a Zero Trust end state.
- Perform vendor analysis and comparison to select appropriate solutions for agency as it relates to zero trust maturity model (Five pillars: Identity, Device, Network/Environment, Application Workload, and Data).
- Design and implement a variety of projects and technical solutions that address the mandated zero trust requirements.
- Coordinate with management and a variety of agency teams for successful project implementation and turnover to operations.
- Provide management with updates, goals, and milestones as they progress toward reaching outlined Zero Trust goals.

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAO’s)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent post high school education, military and/or work-related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Thorough understanding of Zero Trust as it applies to federal agencies.
- Familiarity with available tools and technologies that relate to Zero Trust.
- Ability to determine optimal solutions for agency implementation based upon their specific needs and current infrastructure.
- Ability to perform thorough security analysis.
- Outstanding communication skills. Strong mastery of professional level English. Ability to communicate with senior management and federal client staff – both technical and non-technical – in a clear and concise manner using proper spelling, punctuation and grammar.
- Desire to not only work and learn from co-workers, but to also act as mentor at times.
- High level expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple large projects within a narrow time frame.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
