Inceed has partnered with a global leader in the renewable storage and technology industry to help find a skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team!

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of the company's products by focusing on defense-in-depth strategies, secure design, and best practices. Responsibilities:
• Participate in network and security design reviews, ensuring security best practices are applied
• Plan, implement, manage, and upgrade security measures for the protection of data, systems, and networks
• Identify vulnerabilities, troubleshoot, and debug production environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and code reviews for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) software components
• Perform threat modeling exercises to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Provide support for incident response related to ICS software components
• Conduct training sessions for operational technology and development teams on cybersecurity best practices
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as NERC CIP and IEC 62443
• Maintain technical documentation for security assessments, findings, and remediation recommendations

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
• Strong understanding of OSI layers, TCP/IP models, and secure design principles for applications, networks, and cloud environments
• Proven ability to work independently to achieve targets and goals
• Experience with secure code development and vulnerability assessments
• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and incident response procedures

Education:

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent
• Experience working with regulatory compliance frameworks and secure coding standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Networking, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred
