About the Team/Position
The Lifecycle Analytics & Insights team supports the Global Talent and Learning organization at Walmart. This team uses analytics and data science to inform talent acquisition, talent management, learning, and workforce planning strategies reaching entry-level associates to senior leaders. We implement best practices, perform research, and innovate and automate to ensure our stakeholders have the data and insights they need to bring value and drive action across Walmart. The Lifecycle Analytics & Insights team comprises of data engineers, analysts, and scientists working together to create value, show impact, and drive change to improve the lives of our associates.
Our Senior Data Analysts will focus on building dashboards and applications to improve the quality of insights our stakeholders get from our data. Senior Data Analysts will partner with program leaders to understand their domain and build data solutions to support their strategic initiatives. The Senior Data Analyst will need to understand high-quality data visualization techniques to reduce complexity and increase understanding and impact. The various positions on our team provide opportunities for growth, specialization, and leadership.

+ Technical expertise: a deep understanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and data visualization techniques. Proficient in SQL and Python, and have experience with Excel, and Tableau or Power BI.
+ Experience with complex data: experience working with complex and large datasets. Comfortable handling and analyzing data from various sources, including structured and unstructured data.
+ Problem-solving skills: strong analytical mindset and be able to think critically to solve complex problems. Able to identify and develop innovative and data-driven solutions.
+ Business acumen: able to understand and translate business objectives into data analysis projects. Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and able to translate asks into needs.
+ Communication skills: effectively communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner. Able to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
+ Leadership and mentorship: demonstrate project leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior members. Able to provide guidance and support to team members and help drive the development of data-driven culture within an organization.
+ Continuous learning: be proactive in keeping up with the latest trends and technologies. Willing to learn new tools, techniques, and methods to enhance their capabilities and contributions to the team.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
