We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Senior Data Analyst to join our diversified analytics team. This role focuses on expanding data science and predictive methodologies, enabling effective, data-driven decision-making aligned with strategic brand priorities. The Senior Data Analyst will collaborate with business users to identify, build, and maintain data analytics solutions, producing outcomes of moderate to advanced complexity. Additionally, this role will serve as a mentor and advisor to mid-level and junior data analysts, contributing to a culture of data innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
The base range for this contract position is $61 - $71/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Senior Data Analyst will collaborate with business users to identify, build, and maintain data analytics solutions, producing outcomes of moderate to advanced complexity. Additionally, this role will serve as a mentor and advisor to mid-level and junior data analysts, contributing to a culture of data innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand goals and deliver data analytics solutions that drive membership, sales, investments, and growth.
- Develop predictive analytics, visualizations, and workflows to offer actionable insights and improve business processes.
- Enhance valuable data sources through integration with third-party data to support in-depth analysis.
- Communicate insights via data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for both internal and external use.
- Work closely with IT, Data Warehouse, and various departments to address enterprise data needs.
- Stay updated on analytical trends and technologies, ensuring competitive advantage through timely implementation.
- Foster a culture of data analytics by providing training, awareness, and hosting "data days" for employees involved in analytics.
- Maintain transparency and ease of communication regarding project issues and decisions.
- Proficient in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data using tools like Snowflake, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, ArcGIS, or similar.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical and business matters effectively.
- Proven success in securing buy-in for data-driven ideas and affinity for metrics.
- Demonstrated leadership, team-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Capable of managing key customer relationships, including with senior management.
- Skilled at analyzing data for trends, problem diagnosis, and decisive decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Business, Data, Statistics, or a related field preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in data modeling, analysis, and meeting business and data requirements.
- Proven track record of business process improvement through data and statistical analysis.
- Experience with statistical and mathematical modeling.
- Demonstrated success in achieving project milestones and deliverables.
