About the Job
Our client is currently seeking a Senior Design Engineer.
Overview:
- Designs Aircraft Structural components Primary and Secondary Structure.
- Must have experience with Engineering Change Processes such as Drawing Change Request, Engineering Change Request, Engineering Change Notice, etc.
- Must have a complete understanding of ASME Y14.5 2009 and possesses a working knowledge in the use of GD&T
- Interfaces with other departments to resolve questions and technical issues.
- BS degree in either Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required
- Minimum 7 years engineering & design experience in aerospace industry
- Proficient in SolidWorks 3D CAD design tools and principals
- Knowledge of Structural analysis
- Familiarity with other engineering principles and other engineering fields
- Knowledge and experience with products that are required to meet FAA standards.
- Essential project management skills, including project planning and budget evaluations
- $80 120K, depending on experience
