The Prime Brand Design team is looking for a Senior Designer to join our team in either Seattle, Santa Monica or New York. Close collaboration with creative directors, UX, writers, producers, product and marketing professionals is required so as to design exceptional, customer-led brand experiences impacting our members around the world. The ability to work hands-on, concept, and execute bar-raising creative is critical, while being able to direct other creative disciplines when needed. The ideal candidate is obsessed about design and branding and understands how and where to best focus their creative exploration to align with project briefs, stakeholder inputs, functional requirements, and timelines. They have experience working across multiple marketing channels especially in UI and UX, understanding the complexities and creative implications of a global brand.
The ideal candidate works fast, is able to quickly discern the needs of a project, and responds to creative briefs with fresh ideas and strategic design systems. They are a design thinker, motivated to develop the best solution for every challenge, regardless of scope, length or budget. They professionally present their work, with enthusiasm for both inspired creative and logical thinking to drive creative alignment. Our work is often self-directed, so comfort working with ambiguity, bias for action, and strong communication and organizational skills are must haves. They must be able to navigate and influence complex relationships with product and UX while being strong advocates of consistent brand expression. Expert understanding of design fundamentals related to typography, grid, layout, and accessibility should be demonstrated though a professional level design portfolio of relevant, real-world projects.

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of design industry experience with an agency or in-house
- Portfolio demonstrating understanding and development of brand guidelines
- Portfolio demonstrating brand identities that scale across multiple touch points especially in UI/UX
- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent professional experience
- Advanced understanding of typography, design principles, and color
- Experience designing for digital (web/mobile/product) and good understanding of production best practices for print and digital mediums
- Lead creative development of innovative brand creative, from concept to delivery.
- Familiarity with brand strategy and working from briefs
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Unwavering dedication to craft from idea to execution
- Own, develop and evangelize brand personality and purpose globally.
- Ability to share ideas and receive feedback from business partners and stakeholders through presentations and writing.
- Experience presenting work to senior creative leadership
- Proficiency in Figma, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Keynote
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of typography, design principles, trends and best practices across digital and print
- Experience with a world-class brand-focused design agency or consultancy
- Have strong bias for action in a fast-paced, metric driven environment
- Client experience with nationally/internationally known brands
- Self-motivated team player
- Exceptional communication, collaboration and presentation skills
- The ability to influence others to set and achieve goals and deadlines.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
