Senior Desktop Support:
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Desktop Support to join their team!
The Senior Service Desk Analyst handles IT support for computers, software, operating systems, applications, mobile devices, and related equipment
They lead the team, resolve technical issues, and manage IT assets
This role also involves solving more complex issues, providing customer support, and guiding other team members.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Fix issues with personal computers, operating systems, software, and mobile devices
Document solutions and collaborate with other teams for more complex problems.
Service Requests: Fulfill IT service requests, suggest improvements, and align with company goals.
Asset Management: Track and update the status of IT assets (e.g., computers, devices) and resolve inconsistencies in records.
Knowledge Management: Create and update user guides and support documentation.
Special Support: Provide after-hours or executive-level IT support when needed and assist during peak periods.
General: Follow company safety guidelines and perform other tasks as required.
Required Qualifications & Experience:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
At least 5 years of IT experience, including 2 years in a similar role.
Experience with HP, Dell, Microsoft Surface workstations
Experience with remote connectivity solutions.
Experience with VPNs
Experience with Microsoft SCCM and Intune
Certifications (Preferred): ITIL, CompTIA A+, MCDST, HDI Desktop Support Technician.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:Advanced skills with Windows OS, computer management, Active Directory, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
Excellent customer service focus with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members effectively.
Documentation skills for tracking incidents and managing service requests.
Customer-focused and solution-oriented.
Positive attitude, strong teamwork, and professional demeanor.
Efficient multitasking and attention to detail.
Able to guide and mentor less experienced team members.
