About the Job
This position provides primary support for desktop and network hardware to administration and offices and secondary application support. Responsibilities include: PC setup, application implementation and rollout; software maintenance; primary contact for hardware and software related issues, concerns, and enhancement requests. Assists with the maintenance, support and troubleshooting of the network infrastructure including but not limited to firewalls, DNS/DHCP, and LAN/WAN equipment. Provides training and guidance to department members to use new technologies and applications, as well as to improve knowledge of existing ones, with the primary focus of achieving service excellence.
Qualifications:
1. Associates degree or equivalent professional experience.
2. Minimum three years' prior experience in an IT support role.
3. Previous experience in troubleshooting Windows and OS X platforms and applications.
4. Knowledge and experience of imaging systems.
5. Functional knowledge and experience of Active Directory and LDAP.
6. Provides guidance and supports moderate to complex software and hardware installations.
7. Serves as a resource for coworkers on the Service Desk.
8. Knowledge of organization policies and procedures.
9. Knowledge of computer hardware and devices.
10. Knowledge of office computer systems and applications, especially MS Office and MS Windows XP.
11. Skill in planning and organizing.
12. Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with medical and administrative staff.
13. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
