Skill Requirement
· Extensive experience with database development tools (Oracle, Toad), ETL and integration technologies
· Experience developing large scale systems
· Experience developing interfaces to Oracle or other SQL-based databases
· Experience working in controlled development, testing and production environments
· Experience in Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, PL/SQL, ETL processing,
· Familiarity with development toolkits & source repositories (GitHub), SQL interpreters (TOAD).
· Sound understanding of RDBMS
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills
· Aptitude for debugging problems in complex, unfamiliar code
· Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
· Solid work ethic, self-driven with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Nice to have
· Subject matter expertise in Digital Marketing, Marketing database environments from Media, Finance, Retail, Insurance and Banking industries
· Experience additional programming languages skills in Shell Scripts, Perl, Python, or C, C++, etc.
· Experience using Waterfall and Agile-based methodologies within a software Development function.
Position Description:
Senior level Oracle developer with strong application architecture and data modeling background, ideally from digital marketing and ability to write and extend code that works with multi-terabytes of data bases. This role will be responsible for delivering relevant technical solutions based on best practices primarily using Oracle Technology. The ideal candidate must be able to integrate Oracle solutions with a variety of other technologies including and work in a matrix setting and have strong collaboration skills. Successful candidate should be self-driven, able to work with minimum supervision and have extensive experience in Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, PL/SQL, ETL processing, Reporting and background in finance, retail, media, and insurance will be preferred. Candidate will be expected to work as an individual contributor as well as provide oversight and direction to other technical resources as required.
