Hobson Prior is seeking a Sr. Director BD to join the Commercial team at an established CRO. In this role, you will focus on developing and securing new business opportunities in the Northeast, contributing to sales and revenue targets. You will build and maintain client relationships, represent the company at global conferences, and collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions for clients.

Responsibilities:
- Identify potential clients and clinical trial opportunities.
- Develop strategic sales plans for target markets and territories.
- Build a strong sales pipeline to meet sales targets.
- Understand client needs and communicate them to internal teams.
- Lead the creation of high-quality client documents, including proposals and budgets.
- Manage key client relationships and act as a brand ambassador.
- Share industry insights and competitor information with internal teams.
- Mentor junior business development team members.
- Provide accurate sales reporting and support commercial leadership as needed.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Degree in Life Sciences or Business Studies or equivalent.
- Proven experience in business development within Clinical Research.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Experience selling to Biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Word and Excel.
