We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Business Development to lead the charge in expanding our advanced flight simulation products. As a key leader, you will work directly with the President to craft and execute business strategies, building strong partnerships and driving revenue growth in both military and civilian sectors. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development efforts to achieve sales targets for flight simulators, control loading systems, and aircraft-specific training solutions.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing business development team, identifying and capitalizing on new growth opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans aimed at increasing market share in military and civilian aviation markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive product improvements based on customer insights and market trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and military procurement entities.
- Oversee the adoption and use of CRM systems and sales tools to enhance team productivity.
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships and alliances to accelerate business growth.
- Ensure compliance with international regulations, such as ITAR, to support global business initiatives.
- Manage cost center budgets and align business objectives with financial goals.
- Travel as needed to meet with clients, partners, and government agencies.
- Uphold the highest standards of business ethics and professional conduct.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Significant experience in sales, product management, or marketing within the aerospace, defense, or flight simulation industries.
- Proven track record of driving business development for complex technical products.
- Deep knowledge of flight simulation and training systems, especially control loading systems.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with an emphasis on government and military clients.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in both military and civilian aviation markets.
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and international trade regulations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
